KONCEPT 60x30 - Rectangular Acrylic Shower Base 60x30 with Left Drain and Integrated Tiling Flanges on 3 Sides

The Kalia KONCEPT 60x30 is a rectangular acrylic shower base with a left drain and integrated tiling flanges on 3 sides, sized for a slimmer tiled alcove. The base must be installed perfectly levelled on a floor and walls that are also perfectly levelled. Its weight must rest on the floor, with no weight supported by the tiling flange or the base skirt.

Features

• For installation, the floor structure must be strong enough to support 50 pounds per square foot (244 kg/m²)
• All framing and plumbing work must be completed before the base is installed, in accordance with instructions and local codes
• For renovation work, existing shower surfaces must be removed to accommodate framing requirements
• Structure measurements must be verified against the unit
• Holes drilled in the tiling flange must be drilled from the inside (finished surface) towards the outside and caulked to form a water-tight barrier
• To facilitate levelling, applying mortar on the floor surface where the base will be installed is recommended
• Necessary installation materials: a drain, silicone caulking, mortar or leveling compound and #8 x 32 mm (1¼") stainless steel screws
