Floor Mount Tub Filler Rough-in Valve

The Perrin & Rowe U.3440R is a floor mount tub filler rough-in valve: the rough only for the U.3990 Hoxton single post tub filler and the U.3440 Holborn single post tub filler. It is included with a mounting box that can be adapted for second floor installation, and installation can be done either from above or below the floor. Stops are included for servicing, allowing servicing or installation of the tub filler without turning off the supply of water to the house.

• Length is adjustable to mount between studs 12” and 24” apart; not meant for concrete installations
• ½” NPT male inlets
• Mudguard included, with minimum and maximum measurements
• Outlet caps for installation of the rough prior to trim installation
• Parts list: manifold assembly (1/2" NPT), manifold stops (x2), extension arms, rough cover and a 1/4" Allen key
• Ideal performance is obtained with equal hot & cold pressures
• Installation notes: a registered plumber is recommended, and where the inlet water supply pressure is ever above 500 kpa, pressure-limiting valves must be installed
• Helpful tools for installation: 1/4" hex key, 4-3/4" hole saw and 5/16" socket bit
