1/2" deck-mount transfer valve 2/3-way valve with integral check valve

The Kohler K-409-K 1/2" deck-mount transfer valve is a 2/3-way valve with integral check valve. Install the valve to add a bath-mount handshower and turn your bath into a shower. It offers bath-mount or deck-mount installation, two- or three-way configuration options and integral dual check valves for backflow prevention.

• Installation requirement: bath and handshower outlets are required for the two-way transfer valve; bath, handshower and auxiliary outlets are required for the three-way transfer valve
• Installation requirement: when used as a two-way transfer valve (bath and handshower), the installer must cap the auxiliary outlet; do not install spouts with flow restrictors or shower units on the bath outlet
• Installation requirement for cast iron baths: the collar should be installed with flange facing downward, and the opening in cast iron must be Ø 1-7/8" (48 mm) minimum
