KONCEPT 48x36 - Rectangular Acrylic Shower Base 48x36 with Central Drain and Right Integrated Tiling Flange on 2 Sides

The Kalia KONCEPT 48x36 is a rectangular acrylic shower base with a central drain and a right integrated tiling flange on 2 sides. This 48'' x 36'' model (BW1280) belongs to the KONCEPT group with integrated tiling flanges on 2 walls, with a central drain and right flanges. The base must be installed perfectly levelled on a floor and walls that are also perfectly levelled, directly against the studs and not against the finished wall.

Features

• Installation requirement: the floor structure must be strong enough to support 50 pounds per square foot (244 kg/m²).
• The weight of the base must rest on the floor; no weight should be supported by the tiling flange or the base skirt.
• All holes drilled in the tiling flange must be drilled from the inside (finished surface) towards the outside and caulked to form a water-tight barrier.
• An additional 2"x4" stud should be added to the wall structure to facilitate and strengthen the shower door installation.
• The 50 mm (2") drain pipe should be about 19 mm (3/4") below the floor line; drain dimensions and installation instructions might vary according to the model of drain used.
• Respect all local plumbing and building codes.
